2010 Yamaha V-Star 250

New to motorcycles and looking to get into an easy to learn on starter bike? Or, simply seeking out affordable around-town transportation? This modern classic may just be the ticket. With under 2400 miles, it has not seen a lot of use. The engine runs very smooth and throttle operation is easy to manage which is nice for practicing in parking lots to maintain high levels of confidence. The clutch is simple to work and is not abrupt in any way. The overall condition of this bike is good and does not present any damage. The seat is also very comfortable without any tears. Come try it out and see if it’s a good fit for you.

2007 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom Cruiser

Thanks to a low seat height and long wheelbase, this V-Star is one of the most comfortable cruisers in its class. The condition is excellent and the paint and chrome shine extremely well. Speaking of paint, the tank has ghost flames that give off a muscular tone to the bike. Mechanically, the engine runs great and has mountains of low end torque which allows for low revs while climbing steep grades. You will be saving yourself quite a bit of money in the accessories department as a Vance & Hines exhaust system is installed and boy does it make the sound come alive this bike deserves. The front end is very plush and soaks up road imperfections as if you’re riding on a pillow. If you’re looking for a cruiser that offers few vibrations, is very comfortable and is in excellent shape, this one is has no compromises.

Moose Racing Accessories For The Tiger 800: Seats, Crash Bar & Skid Plate

Check out these new Tiger 800 accessories that just arrived at our shop from Moose Racing!

Adventure Seats:

Offered in two available profiles, standard and low, these seats are a very sophisticated upgrade to the Tiger. The top is covered in an expensive feeling suede which is a nice upgrade from the stock unit to improve all day comfort in the saddle. The sides of the seats are equipped with gripper panels that allow you to maintain proper body position while navigating obstacles off road.

These are very elegant looking seats and are an excellent upgrade to the Tiger.

Protection Bar:

In the world of adventure bikes, additional protection is something that you can never have enough of. These robust rock guards have a new coating on them that we have never seen before from Moose. It appears to be extremely durable for holding up to tree branches and anything else you can throw at them.

If you're planning on any type of off road riding, these are a must.

Skid Plate:

One of most beneficial upgrades that you can do to any motorcycle is upgrading the skid plate. You don't want to get caught out in the middle of nowhere on an adventure ride because the sump of your bike suffered damage due to insufficient protection. These aluminum plates offer drain holes to allow water and mud to drain out so that it doesn't collect. There is also an oil drain hole which prevents you from having to remove the plate each time you change the oil.

These parts are high quality hardware or we wouldn't sell them in our shop. Come take a look, you won't be dissapointed.

2014 Triumph Bonneville Line Updates

 Machined Cylinder Head Fins

In the classic range of Triumphs, 2014 brings some tasteful updates including fully machined cylinder head fins, improved seat comfort, grab rail behind the seat and throatier exhausts to name a few.

Our shop has already started seeing one of these changes on some of our late 2013 models, the machined cylinder head fins. We think the machined fins give off and even classier look to an already elegant bike.

It is exciting to see these changes come forth and believe they will compliment the Bonneville's character. What do you think?

2013 LeMay Vintage Motorcycle Festival

Nothing Short of a Concours

As soon as I stepped onto the show field at 9:00 A.M, I immediately realized this was not just any ordinary motorcycle show. This was my first time to the now second annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival held at the LeMay car museum and going into it did not entirely know what to expect aside from being informed it was going to be double the size of last year. It featured some of the most exclusive and rare motorcycles from all over the globe including many of the finest examples and unveilings of 2014 models from what manufactures of today have to offer.

Not only was the showing of motorcycles themselves an impressive feat, the activities and events over the course of the day was a complete success for all ages and interests. This included a trials show, the unveiling of some rare Ducatis that hold history in racing from the Silverman Museum, Seattle Cossacks, swap meet, and a tour of the LeMay museum complimentary with your ticket.

Triumph of Seattle featured seven bikes at our tent including one of our shop’s custom builds, a café Bonneville that was a favorite among many enthusiasts. If you were one of the many folks who stopped by to say hi or simply wanted a little shade, thank you for doing so! :)

It is easy to see why many concluded that this year was actually triple in size than last year’s show. If you were un-able to make it this year, I highly recommend doing so in 2014. It is one of the most impressive motorcycle shows that you can attend and gives the opportunity to see many once in a life time motorcycles that you may not ever see again.

For your viewing pleasure, put on a pot of coffee and enjoy our collection of photos from the event.
