5 Quick Safety Tips On How To Remain Visible

1.    Headlight: When it’s time replace your headlight, spend the extra money to get a higher output bulb. This not only can greatly improve your own visibility at night, but will be more widely noticeable by other drivers.

2.    Modulating Headlight: A very eye catching and noticeable aspect that is hard to miss.

3.    High Visibility/ Reflective Neon Gear:  Road construction workers wear those orange vests for a reason. Not only is it unmistakably bright in the daylight but it reflects light at night as if your were covered in LED’s.

4.    Know The Horn Button’s Location: The horn is not something we use every day and because of it, we want to know where it is and already have our finger automatically trained right where to go the time it’s needed most.

5.     Judging Blind Spots: On multiple lane highways, use good judgment when riding next to other motorists. Typically the back ¾ portion is where a large majority blind spots occur for most vehicles. Make it a point to either ride directly in front, behind, or side by side.
